Welcome families! My name is Megan Burns and I am the owner/director of Little Oak Nursery School. I started working with children in 1995. I have worked with children of all ages from infants to school age and have worked as both a teacher and a private nanny in the Napa Valley.

I come from a line of Early Childhood Educators and as a result I grew up in an early childhood environment. My parents met in 1971 when they both worked for schools in Napa. My Mom had a family childcare business in our home from 1975 to 1984. She then worked as both a preschool teacher and child care center director until she starting working for a local non-profit agency that serves children and their families in 1999. My sister was also a preschool teacher and worked with children for more than two decades.
